The Australian Apitherapy Association hopes to encourage further research into the important health benefits of bee medicine.

Our role is to encourage understanding of how apitherapy is successfully used around the world to treat many difficult illnesses including cancer, skin cancer, arthritis, asthma and Alzheimer’s.

There is considerable research available on the benefits of bee medicine for these diseases. However, as these treatments are little known or understood it is the role of the Association to try to foster understanding and possible incorporation of bee medicine as complementary, integrative treatment.

We urge an interested medical practitioners, pharmacists and bee keepers to join us to learn about these benefits.
